Presets

RESERVOIR includes a full preset system with save/recall, morphing between presets, and MIDI program change support.

Saving and Loading

Presets store all parameter values — rhythm type, perforation method, pitch pattern, scale, density ranges, expression settings, ESN seed, and state machine configuration. Presets are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/RESERVOIR/Presets/.

Preset Morphing

RESERVOIR can crossfade between any two presets in real-time:

All three parameters are automatable. Draw a Preset Morph automation curve from 0 to 1 over several bars to smoothly transition between two entirely different algorithmic configurations.

MIDI Program Change

When enabled, incoming MIDI program change messages switch the active preset. This allows external controllers, hardware sequencers, or other plugins to select RESERVOIR presets via standard MIDI.
